Canadian singer/songwriter and expatriate Neil Young was somewhat less generous. “Ted Cruz is evil incarnate. If Monsanto were to be made flesh, it would look upon smug, smirking Ted Cruz in horror.” Neil Young has built a musical career based upon his knowledge of American politics and a quivering vocal delivery. Young tells The Fazzler by phone, “It doesn’t surprise me to see him polling so low in my home country. Canadians are very nice people, but they aren’t stupid. Toronto and its mayor notwithstanding.”
