Los Angeles, CA — According to renowned alternative medicine proponent Dr. Joseph Mercola, pop star Joni Mitchell has been cured of Morgellons Disease after a 15-month treatment using a variety of products purchased from his website Mercola.com. The Canadian-born singer-songwriter has been suffering from the disease since she self-diagnosed herself in 2010.

Morgellons Disease or Morgellons Syndrome s a condition in which people have the delusional belief that they are infested with disease-causing agents described as things like insects, parasites, hairs or fibers, while in reality no such things are present, or are present only through benign causes, such as a piece of thread falling onto the skin. The Centers for Disease Control researchers issued the results of their multi-year study in January 2012, indicating that there were no disease organisms present in people with Morgellons.

“I have no affiliation with Ms. Mitchell,” said Dr. Mercola in email communication with The Fazzler, “but she contacted me saying that our products cured her of Morgellons. We have heard thousands of similar victories. We encourage everyone to take control of their health and visit Mercola.com to learn how to be healthier. And of course, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Thanks.”

Complicating matters, there is a dedicated community of activists who believe that Morgellons is a symptom of Chemtrail spraying activity across the planet. Some activists even go as far as to say that “nanoparticles” in chemtrail operations are being produced by NASA. Although Ms. Mitchell has never mentioned Chemtrails as part of her diagnosis, many of her fans believe there is an explicit link between her ailment and the spraying.

Ms. Mitchell spoke to the Los Angeles Times on April 22, 2010, about Morgellons, saying, “I have this weird, incurable disease that seems like it’s from outer space, but my health’s the best it’s been in a while.” She said at that time that she planned to leave the music industry to work toward giving more credibility to people diagnosed with Morgellons. Apparently, during this ,time she was also experimenting with various Mercola.com products and found the cure.

It is unclear which products Ms. Mitchell consumed from Mercola.com, but supporters of the controversial Doctor shared similar sentiments.

“Look,” said Nevada City community activist Saihra Ramun, “anything we can do to lessen the grip of Big Pharma on our l,ives the better. They’re killing us every day with their poisons. If you are suffering from Morgellons Disease, I suggest you start by trying each Mr. Mercola treatment until you find the one that works. It will take some time, and frankly some money, but it’s worth it in the end.”
