Famed band Nickelback will open select dates for AC/DC on their North American leg of their tour.

Los Angeles, CA — Rock legends AC/DC are planning a winter tour that will kick off November 23rd in Portland, OR. The will feature the band with special guest appearances by Guns N Roses front man Axel Rose.

To open the concerts AC/DC has tapped rock band Nickelback to perform. The sets will also feature guest performances by AC/DC front man Brian Johnson.

“We are happy to have Nickelback, Chad and I go back a long way,” said Johnson. “I even sampled some of his vocal patterns in the new music we have coming out.”

Nickelback has had some setbacks with fans over the years as many feel they sold out to the record companies. But according to Brian Johnson, Nickelback made their own way with their own sound.

Nickelback front man Chad Kruger said, “we are super stoked to play with the legendary AC/DC, we cant wait to perform together!”

Tickets will go on sale later this month  with seats ranging from $50 up to $700 dollars for preferred seating. Nickelback fans will receive 30% off ticket prices if they bring their favorite album to the concert.

Cleveland Sam
Cleveland Sam
Cleveland Sam, born Sam C. Sharpe, is a hero, a hero to anyone who knows him in Ohio. At the mere age of 7, he rescued a small girl from the clutches of a herd of llamas outside his boyhood home of Cleveland, OH. By the age of 12, he had already rescued over 14 children from near deaths ranging from freak ice cream truck accidents, to drownings in neighbors' Dough Boy Pools. But his heroism didn't stop at youth. No sir. As a teenager, he saved the entire cheerleading squad of his local high school from certain death with their "party van" caught fire during a local "rager." He writes for Gish Gallop because he feels he needs to rescue it. He's probably correct.
